Grand Reunion is scheduled for July 23rd, 24th and 25th. Blocks of
rooms are reserved at the Ramada, the Wingate, and the Hampton Inn,
Southridge. Check back to the SCHS Alumni web site for updates.

15,000 reunion mailers were mailed out to the current database.
However, if your class records were not current, you may have a number
of classmates that didn’t receive the information. Since
undeliverable bulk mail is not returned, there is no way of determining
who did not receive the information. So…
a PDF copy of the mailer is attached. Please email to your class
distribution lists. The information, including registration forms,
will be available on the alumni website www.schsalumni.org
within the next week. Copies are also available at City Hall and
the SC Convention & Visitors Bureau. Classmates
may use PayPal to pay online with credit cards or print forms and mail
check to P.O. Box 8053, South Charleston 25303. Advance
registration and alumni membership are required.
Plan class activities Classes
are encouraged to plan a gathering on Friday evening following the Meet
& Greet at the high school. This can be at a restaurant, bar,
boat, pool, private home, etc. To post those plans on the alumni
website, email details to schsalumni@verizon.net. We
ask each class to join the Grand Reunion parade with floats, trucks,
cars or simply walk as a group. Classes
will be seated together at the Grand Reunion Party on Saturday evening.
Individual class group photos will be made during the evening. Showcase your talent We
ask each class to submit one or more items for the SCHS Showcase and
Silent Auction. This is an opportunity to display talented
artists, authors, craftsmen, etc. Proceeds from the silent auction
will benefit the Alumni Scholarship Fund. Volunteer Volunteers
are needed for all events. This is a great way for out-of-town
classmates to get involved. Please contact Krista Farley at kristafarley@aol.com
to offer assistance. Sponsorships Your classmates are a
great source of sponsorships and an opportunity to highlight businesses,
organizations, classes or families. (form attached) Many
